When Velvet Ranch was started, it was with the hunter in mind. We are the only ranch to provide the hunter with bulls from our own herd and the only ranch to have elk from the famous Indian Reservations of Arizona. Velvet Ranch was very fortunate to have the opportunity to negotiate with the reservations of Arizona to capture 90 head of these superior bulls and cows to bring on to the ranch for their superior genetics. The world class trophy elk that these Indian Reservations have provided to our hunters from around the world are second to none. The 10 top record holding elk came from off the reservation and now you can hunt these superior bulls at Velvet Ranch, where the quality of trophy bulls will astound you.
