Velvet Ranch has been in business for over twenty years. A lot has changed during that time, and our pricing is at the top of that list. We used to do the ever-so-popular Pay for Size method of pricing. But, that didn't turn out so well for you, the hunter.
See, it was very common to get ready to take a shot at a Huge Bull Elk and our guide would say, "Now you paid for a 380 and that's a 400+, so if you shoot it will cost you an additional $3000." Not exactly what you want to hear when you have found your dream Bull Elk.
So we changed the way the system works. Now, you pay one price for the time you choose to come to Velvet Ranch, and you can take a shot at any Bull Elk you wish too. No extra cost, no hassle, and no big let down.

Meals, lodging, one-on-one guide, ranch license, and tags, are included. THERE ARE NO TROPHY FEES. Booking is for 4 days and 3 nights. Day one is your arrival date. Your hunt will start the second day. Elk season is September through October. Guest(s) are welcome at an additional cost. Average sizes may vary year to year.
